Shopping Malls

Shopping centers have become the most common of shopping environments. We develop retail environments to better suit their locale and meet public as well as client expectations.

Our designs present the core values and considerations that make a successful retail center: location, catchment user needs, as well as access and layout. Our services cover everything from site master planning to the essentials of public facilities and the technical systems.

Aguadilla Town Center

Plaza Naguabo

Plaza Naguabo was designed to be a festive, entertaining new generation community center. The mall entrance features a prominent design element that invite visitors to enter the retail area. A multi-level parking structure connects to the 270,000 sq. ft. 3 level mall by way of wide bridges. The parking enclosure is composed of wall surfaces or sign fields where large signs can be mounted.

Plaza del Lago

This neighborhood center applies the linear configuration with two big-box retailers at each end. This shopping center provides columned canopies along the storefronts to protect pedestrians from the weather. Out-parcels subdivisions are provided to satisfy the development strategy. Plaza del Lago features open air plazas at corner locations that serve as gathering spaces as well as spilled-out area for food vendors.

Los Palacios

Los Palacios is a retail town center located in a densely urbanized suburban area. The “L” shaped strip mall includes a 26,000 sq.ft. grocery store and 32,000 sq.ft. in-line retail stores. A 15,660 sq. ft. Walgreens pharmacy and three fast food out-parcels complement the project. Huge landscaped green areas and a large amount of palms and shade trees were proposed to soften the parking lot landscape.
