This high school at existing Radians School is located on a dramatic sloping site at the foothills of Puerto Rico’s central mountain range in Cayey. The new facility includes a high school of approximately 56,000 sq. ft. of construction area for 400 students. The adjacent 300 student existing building will remain as an elementary and middle school. Facilities for cafeteria, physical education, performing arts, music and other similar programs of the two schools are grouped to provide for sharing uses among the various grade levels.
The facility design is sensitive to the individuality of each school component, while establishing a unified whole.
